This program is intended for all physicians, nurses, health allied professionals, health administrators and students who are involved or interested in providing health care for Muslims patients. The goal of the conference is to provide healthcare providers with a review of common bioethical issues from an Islamic perspective that may impact their Muslim patients' health care decisions. The conference will also provide Muslims health providers with an overview of ethical duties from an Islamic perspective along with an approach to address moral dilemmas that may arise from conflict between religious beliefs and professional obligations.
